From $0 to $40k/Month

3 years ago I was working a desk job at the world's largest retailer. Now, my business is pulling in +$40k per month. By the end of this year, we'll be close to a $1M run rate.

Here's my story:

Back in 2022, I was at my in-laws watching TV when a show came on: Undercover Billionaire. It's where they take these already successful people and make them start over, but undercover. They have 6 months to build a business worth a few million dollars.

My brother-in-law looks at me and says, "We can do that. Whoever makes the most money in 6 weeks wins. You in?"

Now, I love entrepreneurship, always have. But that idea was crazy. But it was also so simple that I loved it.

So we did it. A few of my friends got together, and we launched the competition. In week 5 of the competition, I had made $0. Yep, absolutely nothing. That is, until my friend sent me a post about starting a cleaning business.

I had nothing to lose, so I went for it. I made $500 that week but didn't do any of the cleaning. I just found the customer, found the cleaner, and coordinated the job.

Safe to say I was pretty hooked after that.

Fast forward to today. I now have a team of 30 cleaners doing $40k per month. Here's a screenshot of revenue per month YTD so you believe me. We've also managed to scrape together +120 5-star reviews.

All because of a 6-week competition.

It hasn't been easy. There have been times (more times than I care to admit) when I wanted to quit and sell the business to the highest bidder. But it's still incredibly fulfilling and worth it.

My first year in business we did $92K. My second year we did $242K. This year, we have our sights set on +$500K, and I'm confident we'll blow it out of the water.

When I first started, I was hesitant to take any courses or pay for consulting advice. I said to myself, "How hard could this be?" and "I can figure this out on my own."

What a stupid thing to say.

Yes, I did figure it out on my own, and I'm still learning so much. But think about all the time I’ve wasted.

When you buy a course or hire a coach, you’re buying a shortcut. 

Honestly, it's one of the best returns on your money when you're just starting out. Just one $300 or $400 course could make a huge impact on your life. It has for me and hopefully it can for you!
