One way to stand out in a pool of Airbnb cleaners: allow property-specific requirements.
Every Airbnb is unique and every host has a unique vibe they’re going for. Many cleaners might see this as an annoyance. The best cleaners see this as an opportunity to stand out.
Here’s what we do:
For each property, we allow up to 10 property-specific requirements. This allows hosts to tell us what's most important to them so they can provide their desired experience for their guests.
We cap it at 10 without raising the price. If they ask for more than 10, we need to raise the price because now the time has been impacted. It's all about balancing the desire to provide a white-glove, custom service while protecting your cleaners' time and your P&L.
We give hosts the opportunity to provide these 10 requirements during the onboarding process and hosts have loved it.
When you implement something like this, you’re giving the host one more reason to trust you and more examples of why your prices are worth it!
